iLedger Privacy Policy & Support

iLedger (hereinafter referred to as "the App") is a local ledger and portfolio management tool designed for Interactive Brokers users. The App is an independent third-party tool and has no official association, authorization, or endorsement with Interactive Brokers.

We highly respect and protect the privacy of all users who use our services. In order to provide you with more accurate and personalized services, the App will use and disclose your personal information in accordance with the provisions of this Privacy Policy. However, the App will treat this information with a high degree of diligence and prudence.

1. Information Collection and Use

Local and iCloud Storage: The transaction statements, position details, and personal configuration data you import are stored on your device and securely synchronized through your private iCloud account using Apple CloudKit. We do not operate a server that receives this data and cannot access or obtain your private iCloud ledger data.
Local Credentials: Your IBKR Flex Token and Query ID are stored only in the Keychain on your device and are not synchronized to iCloud.
No Personal Accounts: The App can be used without registering or logging in to any third-party account. We do not collect any personally identifiable information such as your name, phone number, or email address.

2. Disclosure of Information

Since we do not store any of your personal financial information or transaction details on our servers, there is no possibility of disclosing, transferring, or selling your personal data to any third party. Your data belongs entirely to you.

3. Data Security and Control

Full Data Control: You can delete your ledger data from within the App. Deleting the App removes its local data from the device but does not automatically delete data stored in iCloud. To permanently delete both local and iCloud ledger data, use the data reset function provided in the App before uninstalling it.
Device-level Protection: To protect your financial privacy, it is recommended that you enable system-level security measures such as Face ID/Touch ID on your device.

4. Third-Party Services

The App does not contain any third-party advertising SDKs. If the App uses crash log collection services (such as diagnostics provided by Apple) to improve stability, these logs contain only de-identified technical crash data and do not contain any of your transaction content or personal financial information.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to adapt to new features or regulatory requirements. We will post any changes to the Privacy Policy on this page, and we recommend that you check it periodically.

If you encounter a problem, have a feature suggestion, or need help using iLedger, contact us by email. Please include a brief description of the issue, the steps that caused it, and your iOS version when relevant. Do not include your IBKR Flex Token, Query ID, or other sensitive financial information.
